Biography

Talia is a member of the firm's Global Product Liability Group. Her practice focuses on the defense of large tobacco companies in complex litigation.

Talia sits on the board of directors for the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and serves as its newsletter editor; is a board trustee for the Dade County Defense Bar Association; and is a mentor for the Dade County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section, Bar Passage Program.

Talia earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center. During law school, she served as an associate editor of the Nova Law Review and received book awards for Contracts, Civil Procedure and Property, as well as Criminal Procedure, Construction Law and Civil Pre-Trial Practice.

Before joining SHB, Talia completed a clerkship for Judge Gary M. Farmer at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach.
