Biography
Frank is a partner in the firm’s Global Product Liability Group and International Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. Focusing on complex commercial and products liability litigation, Frank represents numerous clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device and tobacco industries. He also defends foreign and domestic corporations in litigation and arbitration, acting as international counsel for several private companies doing business throughout the world and advising on all facets of business transactions and risk management.
A litigator with extensive experience, Frank has represented diet drug and contact lens solution manufacturers in Florida state courts, as well as defended a firm client in federal litigation involving a hip replacement system. He has also served as lead counsel for a major chemical company in international commercial arbitration under the rules of the International Center for Dispute Resolution and obtained summary judgment on behalf of an infrastructure management company engaged in a contract dispute presenting an issue of first impression under state law. Frank has also handled second-hand smoke and direct smoking claims in tobacco litigation throughout Florida.
Frank has been selected as a "Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers since 2009. He was also honored in 2011 by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Florida Chapter as among the "40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade County."Frank has also been included in the 2013 South Florida Legal Guide’s listings of “Top Up and Comers.”
