Biography

Marc is a member of the international coordinating counsel team in the firm’s Geneva office where he advises clients on defending product liability and consumer claims around the world. His litigation practice has focused primarily on Western Europe, Western Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Asia. He has also advised clients on legislative projects, such as class actions, in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Australasia.

While in the United States, Marc worked on the national counsel team representing companies in silica exposure claims filed in both state courts and the Federal Silica MDL, and the national counsel teams representing tobacco manufacturers in Mississippi and Indiana. Additionally, he advised companies on document retention and e-discovery projects. In 2006, he assisted in a pro bono retrial of a death penalty case in Missouri.

In law school, Marc was chief notes editor of the Review of Litigation, an intern for Judge James A. Baker at the Texas Supreme Court, and a research assistant for University of Texas Professors Charles Silver and Lynn Baker.

Before law school, Marc was the editor for the Texas House of Representatives Journal, which documented legislation during the 77th legislative session. Marc is proficient in German and spent a year at the Karl-Eberhard Universität in Tübingen, Germany.
