Alexandra Bach Lagos is a member of the firm’s National Product Liability Division. Alexandra has served on numerous trial teams in various roles. She has also argued and briefed cases in Florida’s appellate courts. In addition to her litigation practice, Alexandra regularly serves as a pro bono guardian ad litem, representing children in neglect and abuse cases.
Alexandra was selected as one of the "40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade County" by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She has been included in Florida Super Lawyers for multiple years as a “Rising Star” for her expertise in litigation. In 2012, Alexandra received the Alumni Leadership Award from the University of Miami’s School of Law and the Celebrating Women in Law Award from FIU’s College of Law. Both awards recognized her contributions towards the advancement of women in the legal profession.
Alexandra was appointed to, and presently serves on, the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee of the Florida Bar. She was also selected as a member of the inaugural class of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy and will serve as a 2013-2014 Academy Fellow.
Alexandra joined the firm after graduating from the University of Miami School of Law. As a law student, she completed internships with Justice R. Fred Lewis at the Florida Supreme Court and Federal Magistrate Theodore Klein in the Southern District of Florida. She also worked as a certified legal intern at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
Alexandra is a past president of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, president of the Smith College Club of Miami, and a member of the President’s Circle at the University of Miami. An advocate for diversity in the legal profession, Alexandra has spoken about that topic at seminars, conferences, and on public radio and television. Alexandra is fluent in Spanish.
