David is an associate in the firm’s Global Product Liability Group. His practice focuses on the defense of corporations in high-profile, multi-defendant product liability matters. David has experience representing manufacturers in cases involving negligence, strict liability, conspiracy, and fraud claims. He is familiar with all stages of litigation, from the initial pleadings through trial.

In the last few years, David has served on six trial teams representing tobacco companies in wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits. He has also been responsible for monitoring multiple jurisdictions in the state of Florida, with several comprising more than 100 cases.

David is a member of the firm’s Mentoring Task Force and Social Committee.

During law school, David was a member of the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum. As an undergraduate at the University of Missouri, he was president of Phi Gamma Delta and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is also currently certified as an official barbeque judge for the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
