Located across from historic Union Station, Shook, Hardy & Bacon's Denver office provides companies and individuals with superior legal counsel in high-stakes civil litigation and business transactions nationwide. Combining extensive trial experience and legal knowledge with a commitment to achieving favorable client results, Shook Denver represents some of the largest companies in America as well as many progressive startups and privately held entities in complex litigation in a wide variety of industries.

In June 2014, commercial litigation boutique Sander, Ingebretsen & Wake, P.C. joined Shook to create the firm’s Denver office. With the addition of our Denver team, Shook expanded the firm’s existing national complex commercial litigation practice. Denver attorneys brought additional experience in areas including banking/financial services, real estate, insurance, employment/trade secret, securities, class actions, broker-dealer issues, consumer fraud, and commercial breach of contract.

Since its opening, the Denver office has expanded to include attorneys with experience in national and international product liability, class actions, toxic tort, general tort liability, and mass torts as well as risk management, product safety, and data security and privacy.   Our Denver attorneys also advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, agribusiness/food safety, and the natural resources sector and offer banking and real estate-related transactional services. The Denver group regularly works across offices to assemble a legal team tailored to each client and matter. We begin each case with the end in mind to effectively achieve the best outcome in the most efficient manner.

Our Denver attorneys have been named among The Best Lawyers in America, Benchmark Litigation, Litigation Counsel of America, and Colorado Super Lawyers, among other prestigious recognitions.  Shook Denver attorneys have also been honored by the Association of Corporate Counsel as “Value Champions” for “effectively driving value by cutting spending, improving predictability and achieving better legal outcomes.”

Shook’s Denver office participates in the Delta Eta Boule Scholarship Foundation’s annual gala, which aims to help under-served African American males in the local community.  Shook Denver attorneys also aim to make a difference in Colorado through their commitment to the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation – Rocky Mountain Chapter, Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Depression Center, Rocky Mountain Children’s Legal Center, Denver School of the Arts DPSO, and Colorado Academy’s Mock Trial Team.  Our attorneys are also active in the leadership of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation.
