Shook, Hardy & Bacon’s Orange County office opened in 2003 to meet our clients’ need for representation in Southern California and has continued to grow as the area’s business climate booms. The Orange County office, located near John Wayne Airport, now has more than 15 attorneys. This location allows Shook attorneys to represent its regional, national and international clients in courts throughout the region.

Orange County attorneys have successfully defended Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. in a class action alleging transmission defects in the RAV4 sport utility vehicle. Shook attorneys also secured a 2015 defense verdict for L.A. Truck Centers LLC in a two-week trial stemming from a tour bus crash where eight were injured and two died. (The verdict was later deemed by Courtroom View Network to be among the top 10 defense verdicts of 2015.) Shook Orange County has also helped clients avoid losses stemming from food labeling claims, including obtaining dismissal of a case against Hostess Brands alleging that label claims about trans-fat were misleading.
