Catanzaro Dishes on Dark Data at LegalTech Conference

New York, NY

Shook, Hardy & Bacon Of Counsel Vince Catanzaro joins an interactive panel on “dark data” February 3 at LegalTech® New York 2016.

Companies amass incredibly large amounts of digital data. The unstructured, untagged, untapped – and often unprotected – information, stored among and around the structured content, is referred to as “dark data.” This information often presents large opportunities, if properly used.

In his session, titled “Turning on the Lights in a Dark [Data] Room”, Catanzaro discusses how adding team members with dark data expertise and using third-party resources in digital governance, data analytics, risk management and electronic discovery can help businesses mine their dark data.

Catanzaro is joined on the panel by James Michalowicz, Senior Manager – Legal Operations Business Performance – of TE Connectivity; and Clifford Nichols, Senior Counsel at Day Pitney. Tom Barce, Director of Consulting Services at Kroll Ontrack, leads the discussion.

Partner Mark Cowing also presents at LegalTech® New York 2016.
