Paul Williams Discusses Alternative Fee Arrangements

Shook, Hardy & Bacon Partner Paul Williams speaks on "Negotiating Alternative Fee Arrangements for Litigation: Structuring and Implementing Non-Hourly Billing" in a live webinar presented by Strafford on Wednesday, July 20.

Williams discusses how litigators can plan, negotiate and implement alternate fee structures. The webinar also includes discussions regarding customizing fee structures for specific legal matters, how to structure the agreement to minimize risk, what to avoid when structuring arrangements and ethical issues that may arise.

Williams has received multiple national recognitions for his innovative use of alternative financial arrangements and strategic litigation management techniques to curtail legal spend and effectively manage otherwise unpredictable litigation. He was named to the National Law Journal’s 2015 list of Litigation Trailblazers in acknowledgement of his accomplishments in this arena. He has also received two ACC Value Champion honors for his work with two different Shook clients in working to improve legal outcomes, reduce costs, decrease case variations, and improve efficiency and value of legal services.
