Shook Litigation Partner Named in Lawdragon Hall of Fame
Shook Partner Gary Elden has been inducted into The 2023 Lawdragon Hall of Fame – Litigators.
Based in Shook’s Chicago office, Elden is a powerhouse litigator who has tried more than 50 cases and has argued over 70 appeals. He handles jury cases in more than a dozen jurisdictions throughout the United States. Elden has also written and lectured on various litigation matters involving securities law, insurance coverage, class actions and trial practice.
Alongside Elden in the 2023 class are 30 other world-class litigators who have dedicated their careers to making a generational impact in commercial litigation, white collar, antitrust, business and financial litigation and intellectual property protection.
In 2022, Elden was named in Lawdragon 500: Leading Litigators in America. To be inducted into Lawdragon’s Hall of Fame, a lawyer must have a long and impactful career of service to the legal profession. Most of those selected have been practicing law for 40 years, and in many cases 50 or more. They are revered by clients, colleagues and opponents and their contributions have shaped the law and or the legal profession in significant ways.
