Six Shook Partners to Speak at Annual Meeting on Government Investigations and Litigation

Several Shook partners will join panels at the Government Investigations and Civil Litigation Institute Annual Meeting, being held November 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells in Palm Springs, California. 

Public Policy Practice Group Co-Chair Phil Goldberg will co-present “Building an In-House Public Policy Practice and Effective Federal Rules Changes,” while Class Action and Appellate Litigation Practice Group Co-Chair Amir Nassihi will join the plenary session “A View from the Bench: Trial Tips and Best Practices in Complex Litigation.” Miami Managing Partner Daniel Rogers, who serves as chair of Shook’s Florida/Eleventh Circuit Appellate Practice, will speak on “The Codependency of Class Actions and Regulatory Compliance,” and Antitrust Practice Co-Chair Ryan Sandrock will take part in the plenary session “Alphabet Soup: Government Enforcement from the Agency Perspective.”

On the final day of the program, Partner Veronica Gromada will join a discussion on “The Proliferation of Mass Arbitration,” and St. Louis Managing Partner Bill Corrigan, who previously served as deputy attorney general for Missouri, will speak at the plenary session on “U.S. Attorneys’ Office Priorities.”

Partner Patrick Oot serves on the advisory board of GICLI, which offers education on regulatory enforcement activities and related civil litigation.
