Eric’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including privacy and data security, business torts, competition law and all forms of intellectual property protection. Eric regularly counsels regarding the identification and mitigation of privacy and data security risks, compliance with breach notification requirements, consumer privacy policies, effective data breach response protocols, the management of regulatory inquiries, and effective strategies for enforcing intellectual property rights.

Prior to law school, Eric serviced the commercial banking needs of complex corporate and municipal clients. During this time, he gained extensive experience customizing cost-effective solutions to his clients’ operational and financial challenges by incorporating cutting-edge cash-flow management technologies to improve daily workflows.

Eric joined the firm after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. He served as editor-in-chief of the Inter-American Law Review, student editor of the online legal scholarship journal, JOTWELL, and board member of the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board. Eric received the Student Bar Association Scholarship and the Lilian R. Levy Award, and was named to the Dean's List each semester of law school. Following graduation, he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Eric was awarded CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Advanced Copyright (taught by renowned copyright scholar David Nimmer), Patent Law, Intellectual Property, Civil Procedure II and Legal Communications. In addition, Eric received the Dean's Certificate of Excellence Awards for both Civil Procedure and Legal Communications.
