Dave is a trial lawyer with over 20 years of experience focused primarily on the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in product liability cases throughout the United States. Dave has tried cases and argued appeals in state and federal courts in a number of different jurisdictions.

Dave has received an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell that indicates he has reached the height of professional excellence and has been recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity. Dave was in the Marine Corps from 1971-1973. While in law school, Dave was executive editor of the Washburn Law Journal and graduated first in his class.

Products Liability Litigation - National Trial Counsel for Sulzer Orthopedics (now Zimmer Orthopedics) in hip and knee implant litigation. Regional counsel for Eli Lilly and Company in the DES litigation. Has also been involved in national or regional counsel roles for the Upjohn Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb, American Home Products and Merck. Dave has tried product liability cases involving implantable hip and knee implants, DES, Depo-Medrol and Halcion and has tried a variety of non-productliability cases. He also has significant experience in settlement negotiations and mediations involving large numbers of cases.
