Dayong applies his technical expertise in computer sciences, biomedical research and pharmaceuticals to intellectual property analysis and counseling. Dayong received his Ph.D. in biology and computer sciences from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Before joining Shook, he held a bioinformatics scientist position at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals designing humanized models for antibody drug development. He also held a research position at the School of Dentistry, University of Missouri-Kansas City focusing on the proteomics and genomics of mineralized tissues. His research interests are in the field of bioinformatics, software engineering and genetic disease modeling.
