Laurie’s practice is focused on litigation, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical and medical device product liability defense and cosmetics and personal care products litigation. She has experience defending significant lawsuits in multi-district litigation as well as individual cases pending in state and federal courts across the country. In addition, Laurie has defended food and drug manufacturers in consumer class actions. 

Laurie's Food and Drug Administration practice spans across FDA-regulated clients of all sizes and across industries. It has included counseling clients on labeling compliance, marketing and advertising, recalls, risk management, and response to citizen petitions. Laurie has also helped clients analyze warning letter trends, assess appropriate corrective action in response to FDA requests, and stay abreast of emerging regulatory trends.

Laurie takes an active role in the firm's recruiting efforts. She is a member of the Search Committee and has served as a supervising attorney to candidates participating in the summer associate program. Laurie is also a mentor to associates as part of the firm's Mentoring Program. She is a member of the firm’s Women’s Management Council.
