Iain focuses on the defense of companies in product liability litigation before both state and federal courts. Iain has experience representing major U.S. and international corporations and individual clients in all phases of the litigation process, including motion practice, discovery, trial preparation and trial and settlement. He routinely represents corporations in the defense of class actions, multi-district litigation, and other complex and high-stakes litigation. Iain has represented clients in litigation involving hormone therapy medication, orthopedic implants, surgical sheeting, epinephrine injectors and catheters. He has argued motions on behalf of clients in both state and federal court, including recently successfully arguing a motion for summary judgment in Texas state court. Before joining Shook, Iain was a litigation associate in the New York office of an international law firm.
