Jessie represents corporate clients in complex commercial disputes and employment matters. She litigates and counsels clients in class-action claims, wage-and-hour disputes, and issues involving discrimination, breach of contract and business torts.

Jessie’s previous corporate and securities law practice and appellate judicial clerkship provide her clients a valuable perspective in litigating business disputes.

Before joining the firm, Jessie practiced in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown L.L.P. where she focused her practice on capital markets, corporate transactions and general corporate governance. She represented issuers and underwriters in connection with public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. She also represented purchasers and sellers in public and private mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, and similar transactions.

Jessie also clerked for The Hon. Judge Mary Tabor on the Iowa Court of Appeals, providing her with extensive appellate experience and unique insights. While at the University of Iowa College of Law, Jessie served as an articles editor for the Iowa Law Review. She is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
