Marc helps multinational businesses develop and implement strategies that preserve their ability to manufacture, market and sell products around the world in the face of increasing regulation, legislation or litigation threats in their markets. He has particular experience in fast-moving consumer goods sectors such as tobacco, e-vapor products and alcoholic beverages.

His litigation practice focuses on defending lawsuits brought by individual consumers, consumer organizations and governments in North America, Europe, West Africa and the Middle East. He regularly works with multinational trial teams to formulate and execute trial strategies and develops expert medical witnesses in complex product liability claims.

In addition, Marc advises clients on litigation prevention strategies and legislative projects that affect civil liability risks, such as proposed legislation on class actions and product liability laws in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific. He also counsels manufacturers on regulatory compliance and reputational risks related to the safety and marketing of their products.

Marc practiced in the firm's Geneva office from 2007 to 2015 before returning to the Kansas City office. During this time, he was recognized as a leading product liability attorney in Switzerland by Who’s Who Legal and was briefly seconded to the litigation and dispute resolution department of Noerr LLP in Munich, Germany.
