Scott’s practice focuses on representing clients involved in patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret litigation.

Following law school, Scott clerked for Justice Brent R. Appel of the Iowa Supreme Court. Scott then joined a firm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he maintained a general litigation practice. Scott has experience representing clients on a broad array of issues at all stages of litigation, including pre-litigation counseling, discovery, trial and appeal.

Scott is an AmeriCorps Alum and is dedicated to public service. He is also an American Red Cross volunteer and provides pro bono legal services to under-served populations.
