The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) named Shook’s Ryan Foley as a top industry professional in insolvency as a “40 Under 40” honoree. Foley advises clients in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He represents secured and unsecured creditors, lessors, lessees and investors in a wide variety of issues related to bankruptcy, insolvency and debt restructuring. He serves as Shook’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group Co-Chair.

Foley brings a varied background to his legal approach working in private practice, government – including a clerkship with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court - and nearly a decade as in-house counsel. In addition to his law degree, Foley earned an LL.M. in Bankruptcy from St. John’s University School of Law.The 40 leaders will be honored during the ABI’s Winter Leadership Conference this fall.
