Litigation Counsel of America Honors Shook’s Richard (Chip) Sander For Public Service

The Litigation Counsel of America honored Partner Richard (Chip) Sander with its Peter Perlman Award. The award recognizes LCA Fellows who contribute in meaningful ways to society by giving back their time and resources in an effort to improve the lives of others. The award was presented to Sander at the 2017 Fall Conference & Celebration of Fellows held in Miami Beach, Florida, October 18-20.

For several years Sander has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado and chairs a committee of the Board. Sander is passionate about furthering the mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures and save lives.  Sander has also served Colorado youths as a Big Brother and as a coach for over 20 seasons of youth basketball, soccer and lacrosse.
