Global Arbitration Review Covers Ricardo Ampudia's Move to Shook

Global Arbitration Review shared with readers worldwide the move of Ricardo Ampudia to Shook, where he is Of Counsel in the firm's Miami office. Ampudia joined Shook in August and tells GAR he brings “two active investment treaty arbitrations to the firm.”

Ampudia, an Ecuadorean-U.S. national, moved to Shook after setting up his own boutique firm in Miami and Washington, D.C. He has worked on investor-state and commercial disputes spanning the construction, energy and banking industries.

A former colleague of Ampudia’s told GAR, “Shook has made an astute move with Ampudia’s hire,” and added that “he is undoubtedly a name to know for the future of this field.”
