In "Shook Lands New Global Arbitration Leader,"The Daily Business Review highlighted Carlos Concepción's move to Shook November 5, 2018. Concepción has built an international litigation and arbitration reputation with a focus on the Caribbean and South America, the DBR noted.
Concepción told the DBR he is looking forward to “developing the firm’s client base through relationships developed over the last 30 years throughout Europe and Latin America.”
“Shook Hardy is an elite trial and disputes firm and I have an opportunity to lead their international global arbitration practice,” Concepción said. “It’s an opportunity that I could not pass up.” He will chair the firm's Global Arbitration practice in Miami.
Concepción is the second recent lateral hire in the global arbitration space. In September, Shook welcomed Ricardo Ampudia to help develop the firm’s global arbitration capabilities.
