Israel to Speak at AIPLA Event in Houston

Partner Sharon Israel will lead sessions and present opening remarks at the “2019 Road Show: U.S. Patent Office Practice and Proceedings” in Houston, Texas, April 25, 2019. The event is hosted by the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), and will feature presentations on ensuring quality patents, an update on Section 101 and 112 guidelines, an update on trial practice before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and effective advocacy before the PTAB.

Israel will interview Chief Administrative Patent Judge Scott Boalick, and moderate a panel discussion featuring Jessica Kaiser, Lead Administrative Patent Judge of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She also was a presenter at the AIPLA Road Show in Seattle April 23.
