Shook Intellectual Property Partner Sharon Israel Selected Among Texas Super Lawyers
Super Lawyers has recognized Shook Partner Sharon Israel for inclusion in its ranking for the 17th consecutive year. Israel advises clients with intellectual property law issues with a focus on patent litigation. She serves a wide variety of industries including technology and telecommunications, energy, pharmaceutical and medical device, and life science.
A former engineer and MIT graduate, Israel is a fellow and former president of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. She will present, along with two fellow Shook attorneys, on a recent Supreme Court decision impacting the patent space. Earlier this month, the U.S. Supreme Court granted certiorari in Arthrex Inc. v. Smith & Nephew Inc. Israel and her colleagues will examine the impact on intellectual property law.
