Shook Partner to Moderate Panel at AIPLA 2021 Virtual Spring Meeting

Shook Intellectual Property Partner Sharon Israel will be moderating a panel as part of the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s (AIPLA) 2021 Virtual Spring Meeting.

Israel will be moderating the panel, “The Interplay Between District Court and PTAB Litigation,” May 11, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. EDT. Panelists include  Chief Administrative Patent Judge for U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) Scott Boalick and Judge Alan Albright, federal district judge for the Western District of Texas, Waco Division.

Israel specializes in intellectual property law with an emphasis in patent litigation and serves as a counsel in cases before district and appellate courts, PTAB and the International Trade Commission. She has held leadership roles in numerous organizations, including serving as president of the AIPLA.
