Chelsea’s practice primarily focuses on defending companies in product liability litigation. She has an extensive background in complex commercial litigation and has represented clients from nearly all major industries in a wide range of matters, including contract, employment, real estate and intellectual property disputes. Chelsea additionally has significant experience in defending clients in cases involving claims of negligence, professional malpractice, premises liability and wrongful death. Her experience in state and federal courts throughout Florida encompasses all phases of pre-trial practice, including initial case assessment, coordinating fact and expert discovery, depositions, witness preparation and drafting and arguing pre-trial and dispositive motions. Since 2017, Chelsea has consistently been recognized each year as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers.
Before attending law school, Chelsea taught English as a second language in Córdoba, Argentina and worked in the Buenos Aires, Argentina office of an international nonprofit service organization dedicated to connecting people with volunteer opportunities, internships and careers with nonprofits all over the world. During her undergraduate years, Chelsea was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was a four-year starting singles and doubles player for Eckerd College’s women’s tennis team, where she was named the Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year.
