Robin is a member of the firm’s General Liability Litigation Practice Group. He has extensive experience in product liability defense, catastrophic personal injury, breach of warranty, financial services litigation, and general business litigation. He also has experience in practicing insurance coverage defense (property and commercial liability) and has represented clients in state, federal and appellate courts.
Robin’s clients include corporate manufacturers of automobiles, pharmaceuticals, industrial machinery, and consumer hand tools, as well as rideshare companies, major banks, and mortgage servicers. He served in a secondment as in-house litigation counsel for a multinational automobile manufacturer, where he managed product liability litigation for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, as well as regulatory compliance with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Accolades for Robin include being named multiple years as a “Southern California Rising Star” by Super Lawyers for seven consecutive years, a “Best Under 40” by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), “Bar Leader of the Year” by the California Asian Pacific American Bar Association (Cal-APABA), and a “Top Attorney” by Pasadena Magazine.
Robin is active in leadership roles in several professional organizations. He is past president and current advisory board member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA-LA). He is a founding board member of the California Asian Pacific American Bar Association (Cal-APABA) and serves on the board’s Judicial Appointments Committee. In addition, Robin is a member of the Korean American Bar Association, where he regularly volunteers at monthly pro bono clinics serving the monolingual Korean community.
