Maureen concentrates her practice in product liability matters. Most recently, her practice has been centered on defending pharmaceutical and medical device companies engaged in large-scale, multidistrict litigation. Maureen also defends claims involving advertising and sales practices under state consumer protection statutes. She handles all aspects of pretrial litigation, including motion practice and research.
In her practice, Maureen draws on her experience as a law clerk for both the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
During law school, Maureen served as a note and comment editor on the University of Kansas Law Review and represented her school in the Native American Law Student Association (NNALSA) National Moot Court Competition, where she and her teammate won the awards for Best Overall Advocates and Best Brief and won the competition. Maureen was also an active member of the Dean’s Fellows, a group of second- and third-year law students selected to mentor first-year students.
