Kierra focuses on all stages of complex business, class action and product liability matters for companies in the consumer goods and medical device industries. Kierra also practices regularly in Texas and nationally in the business and employment field on behalf of Fortune 500 companies. Her work includes defending companies in litigation involving business contracts and other employment-related issues. Kierra has experience in all stages of litigation, including case strategy and development, taking and defending depositions, expert witness preparation, managing discovery, and motion practice. She is highly regarded for her pragmatic and efficient approach in analyzing cases and managing the litigation process.

Before joining Shook, Kierra clerked for The Honorable Brian C. Wimes, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. In her tenure as a law clerk, she managed a high volume of diverse civil and criminal cases. This provided her with a valuable perspective in litigation. Kierra’s judicial clerkship also provided her with extensive experience with pre-trial and trial litigation. 

In her free time, Kierra enjoys volunteering within her community and mentoring diverse law students.
