Dejaun brings a strong business background to his intellectual property practice. Dejaun earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. He combines his business knowledge with his intellectual property acumen to address clients’ legal matters and business considerations. Dejaun has conducted research regarding copyrights, trademark infringement and intellectual property issues and has evaluated risks with slogans, phrases, logos and relevant words that may initiate infringement cause of action.
During law school, Dejaun was a judicial intern for the Hon. Brian C. Wimes, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, where he provided legal citations for motions and appeals.
Dejaun enjoys building rapport with clients and understanding their intellectual property and business goals.
