Darin is an experienced general liability and litigation defense attorney, handling complex litigation, multiparty disputes, and business-related matters. He has represented clients in a wide range of matters, including mass tort, insurance, bankruptcy and restructuring, and construction.
In addition to managing all aspects of pre-trial and trial litigation, Darin also has significant experience and success in appellate courts in both Missouri and Kansas.
Representative Matters
- Extensive experience in mass toxic tort cases, particularly asbestos-related claims.
- Successfully opposed a motion to approve settlement of a complex Chapter 7 bankruptcy case involving an insolvent aircraft manufacturer.
- Represented clients in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
While a student at the University of Kansas School of Law, Darin was an intern for the Hon. Julie A. Robinson, Chief District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, and also worked as an intern for Sprint Corporation.
