Previously, Mr. Williams was a shareholder with MehaffyWeber, P.C. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Williams has emphasized the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device cases as well as the representation of businesses in complex business and intellectual property litigation. He has acted as both national and regional counsel for major pharmaceutical concerns and has headed national trial teams in a variety of pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. Mr. Williams has written numerous journal articles and given talks at seminars sponsored by the Defense Research Institute, Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, International Association of Defense Counsel and The State Bar of Texas.
Mr. Williams has represented clients and has actively handled and tried matters throughout the various states.
Mr. Williams is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury trial law and civil trial law. He is a member in the American Board of Trial Advocates and listed as one of the "Best Lawyers in America". Mr. Williams has been very active in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
Mr. Williams has been named a “Super Lawyer” by Texas Lawyer and Texas Monthly Magazine. In addition, he has been listed in Benchmark Litigation: The Definitive Guide to America's Leading Litigation Firms & Attorneys as a national products liability litigation star and as a Texas litigation star. In 2017, Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business named him a Nationwide Recognized Practitioner for Product Liability & Mass Torts.
