Kris focuses his practice on the defense of companies involved in individual and complex tort and products liability matters. Kris has represented companies in a variety of industries including chemical manufacturing, construction, pharmaceutical and medical device, alarm services and life safety and tobacco. He has experience in all aspects of litigation including pre-trial fact investigation and discovery, expert discovery, motion practice, trial and appellate work. Over the past few years, Kris has served on dozens of case teams and trial teams in the defense of personal injury and wrongful death smoking-and-health cases in both state and federal court.

Kris also serves on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. As part of his pro bono work, Kris volunteers as an attorney ad litem for Crossroads for Florida Kids, Inc. and has served as a guardian ad litem.

During law school, Kris interned with The Hon. Craig C. Villanti of Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal and The Hon. James D. Whittemore of the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division. He also served as an associate on the Stetson Law Review and received the Stanley Milledge Award for Excellence. Kris graduated first in his law school class and also holds a Master of Accounting degree.
