Miami Office Finalist for Diversity Award

The Miami office of Shook, Hardy & Bacon has been selected as a finalist for the South Florida Business Journal’s 2004 Diversity Works! Awards, which honors individuals and companies that have made significant contributions to the growth and development of minorities in their area of business and expertise in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Awards will be presented in several categories, including Best Diversity Advocate (Individual & Company), Best Minority Small Business, Best Corporate Diversity, Best Academic Diversity Program and Best Diversity Based Government. SHB is a finalist in the Best Corporate Diversity Award Category. The winners will be announced at an awards luncheon on Feb. 19 at The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Fla.

The 2004 Diversity Works! Awards are presented by Bank of America, Corporate Express, JM Family Enterprises and North Broward Hospital District, and are sponsored by The Human Resource Association of Broward County.
