CLE seminar attracts more than 150 attorneys

More than 150 corporate attorneys from the Kansas City/Midwest region attended a CLE seminar, hosted by Shook, Hardy & Bacon, on “Latest Trends and Strategies for Corporate Counsel” on Jan. 23 at SHB’s Kansas City office.

In-house counsel from the Federal Reserve Bank, UMB Financial Corporation, TAMKO, Commerce Bank, Kansas City Power & Light, Cerner, H&R Block, Sprint, American Century, Employers Reinsurance Corporation and many more of the region’s top corporations attended the seminar, which featured presentations by more than 25 SHB attorneys on a variety of business and litigation topics.

The program will become an annual event for clients and friends of SHB. The second annual CLE event will be held Jan. 28, 2005, at SHB’s Kansas City office.
