Kuckelman to be sworn in before U.S. Supreme Court

SHB attorney John Kuckelman, along with his two brothers, Gerald and Michael, will be sworn in before the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., on May 17. Former U.S. Senator Robert Dole and former Kansas Attorney General Bob Stephan are sponsoring all three of the Kuckelmans.

John Kuckelman has been an Associate in SHB’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Litigation Division since 1999. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Notre Dame Law School in 1999 and his B.A. from Washburn University in 1994. John is admitted to practice before the state courts of Missouri and Kansas and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the District of Kansas and the District of Colorado.

Gerald Kuckelman is a partner with Garrity & Kuckelman in Atchison, Kan., and is also the Atchison County Attorney. He received his J.D. from Washburn University in 1985. Michael Kuckelman is a partner with the Overland Park, Kan., firm of Warden, Triplett & Grier and has been with the firm’s London office since 2000. He received his J.D. from Washburn University in 1990.
