SHB Will be Honored for Pro Bono Work
Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P. will receive an award from the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center at the FIAC’s annual banquet on April 20 at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Miami.
SHB is being honored for its pro bono work of behalf of immigrants this past year. SHB attorneys spent hundreds of pro bono hours helping unaccompanied minors in DHS custody.
“This award is a result of work completed by lawyers in Miami, Tampa, Washington, D.C., Houston, Kansas City, New Orleans and San Francisco. It truly is a firm wide award and a great honor,” said Jolie Justus, director of Pro Bono Services for SHB.
The Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the basic human rights of immigrants of all nationalities in Florida.
