SHB Receives Pro Bono Award
Shook, Hardy & Bacon received the Angels of Justice Award at the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center’s Sixth Annual Awards Dinner on April 20 at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Miami.
SHB was honored for its pro bono work on behalf of immigrants this past year. The firm’s attorneys spent hundreds of pro bono hours helping unaccompanied minors in DHS custody.
“This award is a result of work completed by lawyers in Miami, Tampa, Washington, D.C., Houston, Kansas City, New Orleans and San Francisco. It truly is a firmwide award and a great honor,” said Jolie Justus, Director of Pro Bono Services for SHB.
The Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the basic human rights of immigrants of all nationalities in Florida.
