SHB Hosts Diversity Program

Shook, Hardy & Bacon has teamed with the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) to showcase local diversity practices, to pay tribute to MCCA members’ initiatives and to promote new ideas.

On May 20, at 11:30 a.m. in the new SHB offices in Kansas City, a program titled the  “Diversity Dialogue” will feature a panel of regional Employer of Choice Award and Thomas L. Sager Award winners discussing their diversity and corporate initiatives while also offering more information about creating solid diversity programs.

Some of the questions, specifically addressing diversity in the workplace, that will be discussed include:

  • What trends do you see emerging in how organizations build inclusive workplaces?
  • What barriers/opportunities exist? How do you address them?
  • What do you see as the employment expectations of new, young attorneys versus more seasoned attorneys?

The facilitator for the program is Veta Richardson, Executive Director of the MCCA.

The panel participants include:

The Boeing Company

Mischa Buford Epps
