Seminar to Cover Sarbanes-Oxley
Shook, Hardy & Bacon’s Craig Evans will present “Sarbanes-Oxley and Other Developments Regarding Representation of Entities” on Friday, June 25, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at SHB’s Kansas City office. The seminar will cover reporting-up requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and recent developments in the American Bar Association’s Model Professional Rules of Conduct relating to the representation of entities.
Evans is Chairman of the firm’s Business Law Section and the Corporate Finance and Banking Practice Group. He has authored “What You Need to Know About the Sarbanes-Oxley Act” The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel (October 2002) and has co-authored "The Uniform Commercial Code – Article 8 – Investment Securities" West Missouri Practice Transaction Guide (2001). He has spoken at several seminars and programs regarding topics concerning mergers and acquisitions and securities law matters.
