SHB's New Partners for 2005

Kansas City, MO—Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P. recently announced 12 new Partners, effective January 1, 2005. The firm will have five new Partners in the Kansas City, Missouri office; two each in San Francisco, California, and Tampa, Florida; and one each in Overland Park, Kansas, Miami, Florida, and Houston, Texas.

Kansas City

  Stacey A. Campbell is a member of the firm’s National Employment Litigation and Policy Practice Group. He has litigated all phases of employment discrimination cases, covenants not-to-compete and unfair competition matters successfully throughout the country. Campbell received his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law.  

John E. Jackson III is a member of the firm’s Tort Section. He has extensive experience in both state and federal courts and has tried lawsuits in a variety of jurisdictions throughout the United States. 

 

Dyan L. Murray’s practice emphasizes national products liability litigation, both in federal and state courts.  He has worked on defending numerous high-profile actions for major manufacturers in multi-defendant product liability lawsuits brought by individual plaintiffs.  Murray received his J.D., cum laude,  from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.

  Clinton G. Newton’s practice involves all aspects of intellectual property law.  In recent years, his practice has evolved to include an ever growing concentration on intellectual property law as it applies to the Internet.Newton received his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
  William A. Yoder currently focuses his practice on complex commercial and products liability litigation.  He has represented clients in numerous state and federal courts across the United States and internationally. Yoder received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

San Francisco

  Annie Y.S. Chuang currently concentrates her practice on complex products liability defense.  She has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, and her duties involve coordination and work with other U.S. and international law firms and clients. Chuang received her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law.
  Christophe Johnsonis a member of the Products Liability Litigation Division. He practices in the areas of national complex products liability, recoupment and business tort litigation brought by government entities, classes and individuals. Johnson received his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law.

Tampa

David S. Johnsonspecializes in defending errors and omissions claims against insurance and real estate agents and professional liability claims against fellow attorneys.  He also handles insurance coverage disputes and complex commercial litigation matters.Johnson received his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.
   

Matthew J. Moore is a member of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Litigation Division.  He has represented clients in hip implant, cholesterol-lowering drug, diet drug, breast implant and insomnia drug litigations and has litigated complex product liability cases, including class actions. Moore received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.

Overland Park

  Matthew J. Wiltanger is a member of the firm’s Tort Section. He has experience arguing before the Supreme Court of the United States.  Wiltanger received his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law.

Miami

   

Christopher D. Brown concentrates his practice in tort, employment, election law and commercial litigation. He has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts and speaks French, Russian and Spanish.  Brown received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.


Houston

   

Manuel López’s practice is focused on various appellate and business litigation matters.He has participated in the defense of major corporations and has significant arbitration experience.  López received his J.D. from Yale Law School.
