Chris Brown to Receive Child Advocacy Award

SHB’s Chris Brown will be presented with an award at the 6th Annual John Edward Smith Child Advocacy Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 29, 2005, hosted by Lawyers for Children America, Inc. (LFCA) The award is a tribute to Mr. John Edward Smith who was instrumental in bringing LFCA to Miami and known for the phrase, "you do well by doing good." Brown will be honored among the chosen South Florida attorneys who exemplify Mr. Smith's life mission.

Lawyers for Children America is a national non-profit organization that helps abused and neglected children by working to create best outcomes through effective legal advocacy by enlisting the skills, talents and resources of the legal and child development communities.  LFCA recruits, trains and provides ongoing support to lawyers serving as pro bono legal representatives.
