McDonough to Speak at Food Liability Seminar

SHB partner Madeleine McDonough, a member of the firm's Agribusiness & Food Safety Group and the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Litigation Division, will address issues (e.g., bioterrorism, youth marketing claims) that are likely to figure prominently in food litigation over the next decade at an upcoming Defense Research Institute seminar titled "Food Liability -- Law, Science and Risk Management" in St. Louis, Mo.  Other sessions at the May 19-20, 2005, event will cover the science of foodborne illness, insurance issues unique to obesity litigation, product tampering, and the use of experts in food litigation.  Click here to view the seminar brochure.
