Pat McLarney, Partner in SHB’s Kansas City office, is the recipient of the Daily Record’s 2005 KC Legal Leaders of the Year award. McLarney was chosen by a panel of his peers for going “above and beyond the call of duty in the name of justice through civic and professional accomplishments.” Ten people were chosen out of 45 nominated for their contributions to the legal community.
McLarney undertook co-leadership of the Legal Aid of Western Missouri's Justice For All Campaign in 1999. He is currently an active leader in LAWMO and works with area law firms to raise support for the campaign. He also co-founded Little Flower Neighborhood Justice Center, an inner-city project in Kansas City that provides pro bono legal services to low-income persons.
