Kaplan to Speak at DRI Seminar

SHB Partner Harvey Kaplan  will be a guest speaker at the 2007 DRI Drug and Medical Device Seminar on May 10 in San Francisco, Calif. Harvey will help kick off the seminar by conducting a mock trial demonstration involving a moot direct and cross-examination.

Hosted by the Defense Research Institute, a national organization of defense trial lawyers and corporate counsel, the two-day conference will be attended by law firms, medical device and insurance companies nationwide.  The conference will address a range of topics including creative strategies in tort litigation, current FDA developments, and the challenges facing medical device companies.
