McDonald Presents at Grocers Convention

SHB Partner Chris McDonald participated in a panel discussion on crisis management within the food system at the National Grocers Association Annual Convention held January 29 – February 1, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The Convention invited those in the independent retail grocery industry to exchange ideas on business management, consumer safety and disaster coverage.  Joined by panelists Jonathan Bernstein of Bernstein Crisis Management and Kevin Murphy of Vance Publishing, Chris focused his remarks on legal issues related to crisis preparedness and management.  He was also interviewed by Phil Lempert, author and food trends editor for NBC's “Today Show,” as part of the NGA-TV programming broadcast in the exhibit hall during the convention.
