Carew and Voss Speak on Panel at the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Diversity Symposium
Shook, Hardy & Bacon Director of Strategic Diversity Initiatives Kori Carew and Tampa Partner Jennifer Voss present at the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division’s Statewide Diversity Symposium on Friday, April 17 in Tampa.
Carew and Voss serve as panelists in, “Diversity in Law Firms/ In-House Counsel.” Carew and Voss are joined by Katrina Lindsey, Senior Vice President, Division General Counsel- Employment and Litigation for Darden Restaurants.
The panel discussion covers hiring practices relating to diversity and inclusion, breaking the glass ceiling and steps corporations can take to promote diversity.
The symposium aims to continue the diversity dialogue with dynamic panelists focused on different areas of diversity. The symposium includes three panels--Diversity in Bar Leadership, Diversity in the Judiciary, and Diversity in Law Firms/In-House Counsel.
