Tobón Obtains CIPP/E Credential
Shook, Hardy & Bacon Miami Of Counsel Camila Tobón has obtained the credential of Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E). The CIPP is accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals and widely considered “the global standard in privacy and data security certification.”
The CIPP/E is the leading credential for international data protection professionals reinforcing knowledge of and experience with a comprehensive approach to the protection of personal data and transborder data flows. Tobón is the first Shook attorney to obtain this international privacy certification.
As a member of Shook’s Data Security and Privacy Group, Tobón works on international data privacy issues, including the development and implementation of privacy policies, employee training, and international transfers of data.
