Several Shook Presentations at IADC Meeting

Pebble Beach, California
Shook, Hardy & Bacon Partners Bill Sampson and Matt Keenan and Chief Marketing Officer Katherine Hollar present at the International Association of Defense Counsel Midyear Meeting February 20-25 in Pebble Beach, California.
Sampson and his fellow panelists take participants through a mock scenario based on thousands of actual breaches in a session titled “After the Data Breach: A Hands On ‘Table Top’ Demonstration About How to Counsel Clients in Crisis”
The session allows participants to make decisions, weed out confusing or misleading facts and work together to follow post-data breach procedures. Sampson is joined by Serge Jorgensen, the Sylint Group; Paul Nikhinson, Beazley; and Peter Pizzi, Connell Foley LLP. Stephanie Rippee, Watkins & Eager, leads the discussion.
Keenan shares his most meaningful pro bono experiences as a part of a panel discussion titled “IADC Talks: Social Justice.” Craig Thompson of Venable leads the discussion on challenges often faced when providing pro bono services.
Keenan is joined on the panel by Daniela Karollus-Bruner, CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz Rechtsanwälte GmbH; Michael Magner, Jones Walker LLP; Christine Marlewski, Gray Robinson P.A.; and Robert Redmond, Jr., McGuireWoods LLP.
In a presentation titled “The Power of Brands,” Hollar demystifies how successful brands spread their message, looking at companies and products, as well as law firms and individual lawyers. She is joined by George Schell, Chief Marketing Counsel of The Coca-Cola Company.
